In response to Stephanie, I have always been under the impression that a Screenplay is the initial text for a film, and a Transcript is the text which shows a word-for-word account of the film. So if this is the Screenplay, it would be more accurate to say that the film is incorrect, not the screenplay.
And I agree with Matt about the book, though not happy that they skipped The Vampire Lestat. There's the musical for that, now!!!! Go on www.lestat.com for information about that.
